Celebrate Valentines Day with SCVCS in Myrtle Beach!!!!

Two great events are planned for Friday, February 14, 2014! One event takes place in the morning at Barnes & Noble and the second event takes place in the evening at Coastal Carolina University. *Learning Coaches must accompany students for each event. We hope to see you at one or both of the Heart Day celebrations. The morning event.. Meet SCVCS teachers at Barnes & Noble in Market Common, 3346 Reed St., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The fun begins for all ages at 10:00am and concludes at 12:00 Noon. Students may participate in scavenger hunts designed for middle school and high school students. Story time and a store tour will be featured for grades K-5. Barnes and Noble is also hosting a book fair and all SCVCS students purchases will earn a percentage for our school SCVCS. The SCVCS English Department is sponsoring a field trip to view the live theatrical performance of Into the Woods. All students and learning coaches are welcome to meet at Wheelwright Auditorium on the Coastal Carolina Campus no later than 7:15pm. The curtain opens at 7:30pm. The play should conclude about 9:30pm. The admission rates are as follows: Senior Citizens 65 & older = $10, Adults = $15, Children ages 11-17 = $10, Children 10 & younger = $5
