An important element of the contract management process is undertaking inspections of the work and documenting the status of OH&S performance. The frequency of inspections will depend on a range of criteria, which will be determined by the rincipal. The following !ontract "nspection !hecklist has been designed to be simple and rele#ant to the specific contract. The checklist will pro#ide a simple record for use by the !ontractor as the basis of its super#ision program and by The rincipal as part of their super#ision and monitoring role. The !hecklist is de#eloped from the $isk Assessment and requires necessary control measures, which were identified by the !ontractor to be listed. The checklist simply in#ol#es a re#iew of the rele#ant control measures de#eloped by the !ontractor. "f remedial action is required this should be noted against the particular item and notes can be made as to what action is necessary. Example: Contract Inspection Checklist One of the control measures identified in the risk assessment was to ensure there were re#erse lights and alarms on all mobile plant to minimise the risk of collisions with site personnel.
