CANVAS TRAINING

Each course will run for 1 hour after school (3:15 4:15) in the media center. Teachers earn a PGP for each session. I will keep track of all staff attending courses. Once you have completed all four courses you can then attend Work sessions. Final Canvas date is February 25, 2014. Course I 1. Staff Testimony 2. Understanding Canvas 3. Update Profile 4. Customize the Course 5. Cross-Listing Course 6. Help Guides 7. Staff Canvas Examples Course II (Must have completed Course I) 1. Creating Modules 2. Assignments 3. Rubrics 4. Speed-Grader 5. Modules Course III (Must have completed Course I) 1. Creating Quizzes and Tests 2. Uploading ExamView 3. Grading Submissions 4. Using the Gradebook Course IV (Must have completed Course I) 1. Parent Access and Communication 2. Adding Others 3. Home-Page Layout 4. Calendar 5. Syllabus 6. Course Navigation Work Sessions Once staff has completed the above courses they can then go to any work session offered to work on their classes and adding content. These will be staffed by other teachers besides myself. Staff already using Canvas can also attend these sessions to continue to work on their sites.
