My Friend Tafida.
Tafida is a 9 years old girl who lives in a small village in Ethiopia. Every day she walks about 5 kilometers to school. She shares books with two other boys and girls, but she doesnt mind. Tafidas school doesnt have electricity. Lunch break is one of her favorite times because she eats her only hot meal at the school cafeteria. She does her homework at school. When she goes home, she does chores like fetching water and wood. There are different animals in her house: 2 cows, hens and a goat which Tafida feeds every day. She doesnt play with dolls or toys. She goes to bed at 8:00 oclock. She sleeps under a bed net that protects her from mosquitoes. She shares the bed with her two little sisters.
