Everything starts when Lord Canterville sells his grand old house to the Otis family.

't first Mr Otis tries to help the ghost giving him a #ottle of oil for his chains #ecause they do very much noise #ut the twins are not so good with him. "hey now more tric s than the poor ghost. "hey put many traps all over the house li e #utter on the top stair or nutshells along the passages. "hey create a false ghost to frighten him. "hey attac him with a pea( shooters shooting little #alls of paper etc.. Virginia eeps the -ewels of the #o0 and marries the young /u e of Cheshire.
