Coaches Code of Conduct

I agree to be accountable for my behavior, and to conduct myself in a positive manner towards all
league officers, fellow coaches, players, parents, and game officials at all times

I will develop a coaching philosophy that embraces fundamentals, organization, sportsmanship,

and friendships, versus a Win at all Cost mentality

I am responsible to know and understand the rules of the league and the game and bide by those
rules at all times

I will support the integrity of the game and make decisions in line with fair play and
sportsmanship

I will support and respect all decisions made by the league officers and game officials and refrain
from outward criticism

I will remember that all players register to play the game of football because it is fun; therefore
every child should have the opportunity to play

I am responsible for completing all requirements for coaching with CFYF and teaching
sportsmanship, and the proper fundamentals of the game of football

I will honor the game and my responsibility as a coach, and create a positive experience, a safe
and positive environment for all players to learn how to play the sport of football

I will listen to the league officers, my fellow coaches, players, and officials regarding player
safety and when in doubt, I will sit them out of play

I understand the failure to comply with league rules will result in loss of my membership in the
program (CFYF)
