POWER 2.

2 JUMPSTART DESIGN DOCUMENT

OVERVIEW

The roll-out of Power 2.2 will result in a number of new concepts, processes and technologies that all production associates will need to be familiar and comfortable with. This course will introduce those new aspects and help to make a smooth transition to the new more efficient and cost effective way of processing loans. Completion of this course will be required prior to the associate receiving the Power 2.2 detailed task-level training. The audience includes all production associates. Some portions could also be used to communicate the changes to other associates who are not directly affected.

BUSINESS RESULTS

Provide production associates with a high-level introduction of the new way that we will be processing loans. Set expectations of the upcoming changes that are and abate the fears we predict associates will have about the new processes and technology. Show associates how the new paperless processing will benefit themselves, our customers, and the company.

INSTRUCTIONAL APPROACH

This will be an E-Learning course (built in Flash). The course is broken into 3 modules. (see the Course Modules section for the breakdown of content) The first module is high energy, informational, motivational, and has a low level of user interaction. It includes the change management and benefits content. It is designed for the interim timeframe from when the user hears about the change until it is rolled out. This module can be shelved after the roll-out. The second and third modules are modeled after our traditional ELearning. They are fully narrated, with additional information given through captions and call-out boxes on the screens. Concepts are reinforced through user-driven interactions. These modules have a longer shelf life and will be applicable for new hire training after the roll-out (to get familiar with the process and the technology).

PREREQUISITES/POST WORK

No pre-work is required Once associates have completed this course they will be able to attend the detailed task-level training as it is delivered in their branches.

MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION

This course will not include a knowledge check. The completion of the 2nd and 3rd module will be tracked in a zoomerang survey. Data collected will include: o Completion date o Associate First and last name o Branch Completion of the 1st module will not be tracked, due to its format. Tracking data will be provided to Branch Production Managers on a regular schedule.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course, associates will be able to:

List the benefits of going paperless. Discuss the new loan process flow (workflow). Relate their position within the new workflow. Identify the purpose of the new technology elements. Describe what each of the new desktop components are for. Prepare for the upcoming change in process.
