Math Madness: Is still being used as a study hall and bathroom breaks It is not being used as it was intended Next year we are looking to have it in the morning Principals Meeting: No new updates Transfers are online Transfers are due Retentions: Sent out the Friday before mid-winter break The retention letter should not be the 1st parent contact concerning retention o Be sure to look at the retention rubric There should not be an influx of SST if this has been an ongoing issue (if they have been here all year) Teachers should have a conference. Dont place it in the agenda. Reminders: Transfer papers are due Start class on time-follow the schedule Morning work is taking up too much time. It should not be going on until mid-morning Any time you change things, please let the front office know. If we are writing things in newsletters, please be prepared to accommodate parents. Assistant Principal: Thank you for all of your hard work in writing. The students are even bringing their writing to lunch to share. 5th grade should start re-teaching before the state writing assessment. Media Center: Professional area in the media center has been updated. They are also in copy categories. When using the tech carts, be sure the computers are actually plugged in so they can be charged. Students should not be doing this. They should also not be transporting the carts. Counselor:

Guidance lessons will look a little different next year. They will last for between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Please be flexible if you guidance session must be rescheduled

Office Staff: if students bring notices in, please be sure to read them to determine where they need to go.
