ANALYSING MY DATA
On average people in yellow, green and orange have 2 cars. According to my survey, 13 people have 2 cars. My range explains about the difference between the biggest and smallest choices I gave for the people to answer. My range is pretty big for a question like this but the bigger the range is, the more fun it brings to organizing data. I think the most appropriate use to answer my survey question is using the mode. It is easy to find and it is in complete numbers, not like 2.01. You do not need to round it up, you just use the answer that it gave you. The mode also answers my survey question because it tells us the frequency of something. I used a bar graph for the quantitative data because it shows the difference between each house. It easily communicates how many people have how many cars. A bar graph shows clear information and shows the change in numbers since it is very colorful. My results make sense. I know this because I recorded my data really clearly. I also know that my data is correct because I carefully recorded the tallies and checked if its right.
Qualitative question: How do most people in yellow, green and orange travel to school?
Mode:
The most frequent way for yellow, orange and green house to come to school is by car. According to the survey, 24 people come to school by car.

ANALYSING MY DATA The pie graph and the frequency table shows me that most people in green, orange and yellow house come to school by car. The tally for the number of people that come to school by car is 24. My results make sense because Ive used a calculator to get the total fx and the total f. This makes my mean, median, mode and range correct, and accurate. I have used a pie graph for the qualitative data because it is accurate and it easily shows differences. You can also see the percentages which makes the data accurate. The color each represents a vehicle. After I have surveyed people, made a tables and constructed a graph, I have found out that a typical year 7 student comes to school by car. The number of people who come to school by car is 24 which is 60%. The mode tells me how a typical year 7 student comes to school. If I had a chance to do this project again I would've considered my use of time. I need to use my time wisely and organize my schedule well so that I do not have to rush it in the last minute. I would also choose a question that has a wider range so there is more fun into putting the information in order.
Thank you!
