Paragraph One A. General Book Facts 1. What is the title of the book? 2. Who is the author of the book? 3. Who is the illustrator of the book? 4. Is there any other publication information? (optional)

II.

Paragraph Two A. Setting 1. Describe the place (house, school, city, country, baseball field, et cetera). 2. Describe the time period (past, present, or future). 3. Write the copyright date of the book (1987) 4. Describe the weather (sunny, rainy, snowy, hurricane, et cetera). 5. Explain what time of day the book takes place (morning, afternoon, evening, et cetera). 6. What season does the book take place (winter, spring, summer or fall).

Paragraph Three A. Characters 1. Who are the main characters in your book? 2. Explain their physical traits (tall, short, blue eyes, brown hair, et cetera) 3. Explain their personal traits (smart, mean, fast runner, good reader, et cetera)
