Wolverines soccer claims region championship

Hunter High Schools Justin Motzkus has caught the eye of many soccer coaches in the state as one of the top goal keepers. Hunter High head coach Larry Garahana and the Wolverines soccer team on the !"#$ %egion ! championship &pril $" 'y 'eating (earns )*".. +ut they kno to make an impact in the state tournament, they ill need to improve. -We have not 'een playing our 'est 'all. .t has 'een spotty. He has eight shutouts this season, the most in the )& division. He has 'een la'eled 'y many coaches as a top keeper in the state. -We are lucky to have him drop into our team. He could have played at almost at any school, and he chose to stay in the 'oundaries here he lives,/ Garahana said. 0he Wolverines finished the season 8*#*# in %egion !. 0he only 'lemishes ere a "*" dou'le overtime tie ith 0aylorsville and a !*# loss to 5ie mont in the final game of the season. 0hey end the regular season #!*!*! overall. -. think this is the 'est team Hunter has ever had,/ Garahana said.
