HUNGER Ryan Zulueta A hunger kicks in a particular kind of famine for skin, for coercions, for brutal compulsions. It anchors the circumnavigated path that entwined chances, failures, regrets, and a second of bliss. It treads the worn out road that breathed desires and wanton needs. It paddles the ghostly lake of solace and greedy inhibitions. It drives your insides to scream, to need those pounded nutrients, to speak the hidden codes of clandestineness, and to suffer the layered interactions of ambivalence. Yet, you choose not to move, to take the instant grasp of restraint from nourishing these delicate necessities. For you remain gratified with the anguish of hunger. For you manage to have the littlest satisfaction of feeling the impulse of lifes colors Moving, passing, illuminating, fading colors.
