    Upon the representation of the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG), the remmmendation to abolish the Cottage lndustry Technology Center (CITC) has been APPROVED subject to pertinent laws, rules and regulations.
    The GCG shall create a Technical Working Group that shall coordinate with GCG and implement the following activities:

    a)
    b)

    Winding down of the operations, disposition of the assets, and settlement of the liabilities of CITC;

    Transfer of its functions and assets to the Department of Trade and lndustry (DTl), Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Technology Research Center (TRC); and
    Settlement of the retiremenUseparation benefits of affected employees of CITC.

    c)

    For your appropriate action.
