AN EVENING TO REMEMBER...
MEET MAYOR DICK MURPHY!
by Warren Haviland, Event Chair
Enjoy the new addition of the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park as the San Diego Chapter hosts "An Evening with the Mayor" Thursday, October 17th at 5:15-7:30 PM. This $100 per person event will be our major fundraising event of the year. Mayor Dick Murphy will speak briefly about the San Diego environment, including: the San Diego River Initiative which will link public lands from Mission Bay to the headwaters of the San Diego River; the clean up of San Diego Bay, beaches, and the Tijuana River; and support for Canyons preservation. Enjoy delicious catered hors d'oeuvres and various beverages while harpist Kim Billman plays celestial sounds for us.
