RELEVANT INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE


Fremantle Media Take Off (Pilot) June 2013 Stand In I voluntarily took part in an entertainment pilot episode over two days. I was required to stand in for contestants during rehearsals whilst taking direction from and interacting with the studio floor team. I was also able to observe the TV studio environment and gain valuable on-set knowledge.

I worked closely with all members of the crew driving the production forward whilst developing a close relationship with our two subjects allowing our concept and vision to become a reality. Mask (Short fiction film) September 2013 February 2014 Producer & Editor A third year originally devised and self-funded fiction film. My responsibilities included casting actors, maintaining budget, sourcing locations as well as completing all paperwork both legal and mandatory. Producer A second year originally devised short film showcasing my first experience at producing. I was responsible for completing relevant paperwork, sourcing locations and maintaining budget whilst leading the production as a whole. Prank TV September 2012-February 2013 Camera operator A second year originally devised as-live entertainment show. I operated an industry standard studio camera and took direction well from the gallery team whilst learning and experiencing television studio etiquette. Deptford Market (Short Documentary) January 2012-May 2012 Editor A first year short documentary which I edited, working closely with the director. This documentary made it onto the course website and appeared on there for two years for prospective students to see.

INTERESTS & ACHIEVMENTS


Im outgoing and enthusiastic with a positive outlook on life. Ive a great passion for the television and film industry that has stemmed from my love of theatre and countless hours watching behind the scenes DVD extras. Netball and general exercise are other hobbies of mine as I believe that having a healthy body leads to a healthy, driven mind-set. I have achieved a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award voluntarily completing a 1 night expedition, 3 months teaching netball training & 3 months choir practice.
