Pre-Reading ( 20 minutes)
1. Students take out their text book and turn to page 45. 2. Teacher reads the passage and students follow. 3. Teacher conducts a vocabulary-unlocking task. 4. Teacher writes 12 words related to the passage on the board. 5. Teacher asks students the meaning of the words and teaches them how to pronounce them. 6. Teacher discusses about the passage by asking questions from the textbook. 7. Students complete the life cycle of a frog.
WhileReading ( 20 minutes)
1. Teacher divides students into 3 groups. 2. Students read dialogue according to their group (G1: Ashwani, G2: Li Chean and G3: Fini). 3. Teacher discusses the dialogue by questioning students. 4. Students take out their activity book and do exercises in page 40.
Post-Reading ( 15 minutes)
1. Students draw a picture of their favourite pet. 2. Students write the pets name. 3. Teacher collects their drawing.
