What can this learner do?

-This student has chosen a topic of her choice for her final how to writing piece -Student has a clear understanding of the use of sequence words -Student has general understanding of different steps within her how to topic -Student matches illustration to text

What questions do I have about this learner and/or her work? -I notice that by her second page/second step, she is already almost done with teaching the reader how to face paint How is she going to fill the remaining three pages? -How can this student expand her steps to fill the whole book? How can we break down the steps? -Has she planned for what is going to go on each page? Is she planning as she is writing? Is she just writing her steps down as she thinks of them?

What are my next steps? -Drafting each page planning for what will go on each page -Post-its help rearrange or omit steps as needed without the hassle of erasing
