When printing the specific file created by MS PowerPoint using PS Driver with N in 1 setting, printing is slow. If sending the Fax Job by using PC FAX driver, "-" character is not printed on received document. When printing the specific PS file using Direct Print, PS error page is printed. When sending a PDF file created by UT/400-iPDC to MFP using the direct print feature, the printing result is different from the result of PDF file that was opened with Acrobat and printed from the PS driver. The specific PDF file cannot print from USB memory. When the JS-505 installed, "Corner Staple" will be displayed on Quick Copy. The size of loaded paper is not automatically detected even if you load the paper on Bypass Tray after Banner printing. If the Fax Function Parameter is initialized, the Enter Power Save Mode Setting changes from "Immediately" to "Nomal". When printing a specific PDF file by the direct print feature, the image is printed abnormally. When printing the PDF file created by Nitro PDF Reader from USB memory, the data light keeps flashing and the job is never printed. When printing the specific file created by Adbe Illustrator with Gray Scale, the black density is lighter than the printed file with Auto Color or Full Color. The following issue occurs if GC3-C6 is installed to MFP. When perform Scan to SMB to the folder shared on Windows OS, the scan job may fail if both User ID and Password are not entered. Heart Beat file for CSRC is not transmitted. When printing the specific MS-word file, the following symptoms occur. - The grey area is printed in different colors (yellowish) with 100% Zoom setting. - The grey area is printed in like Block pattern with 99% or less Zoom setting.

Slow response when bringing up the Print Dialog Window in a Novell Netware i-Print environment. Printer driver properties are slow to open on MacOS10.5/6. When using the printer driver under 64bit Windows, Popup window (User Authentication/Account Track dialog box etc.) coming up behind current open application. * Functional restrictions After Popup window is come up, if you do not click on the screen or you do not enter the necessary information in the Popup window and open another application, the application window is coming up behind the Popup window. FileMaker 11 crashes when printing from MacOS10.5/6. When we set Italic of Bold Italic for Water Mark font and try to print Overlay file with text information, the text of Overlay file is also printed with Italic font.

3. Functional restrictions 3.1. Functional restrictions 1. When printing PDF file (A3/A4 mixed original) from Acrobat (Acrobat Reader) Ver.8 from PS driver, all pages are printed on A4 size papers. [Countermeasure] Properties of PS driver> Advanced> PostScript Pass through: "Disable" 2. When switching Authentication Method (General Settings) from "ON (MFP)" to "ON (External Server)", user name that was registered on MFP is displayed on the operation panel. If you login to the MFP using this user name, authentication failure occurs. [Procedure to switch from MFP Authentication to External Server Authentication] 1. Set "General Settings" to "OFF" and clear the user's data. 2. Set "General Settings" to "ON (External Server). 3. When editing or saving a Phone book data (CSV file) using Excel, over 12-digit Fax number is saved as Scientific (e.g.1.23457E+19). (This is a problem on Excel side.) If you use the Phone book (CSV file) that was edited or saved using Excel, please confirm the Fax number before you send a Fax job. 4. If you print large file from XPS driver, "Connection Timeout" may be indicated when MFP receives the data, and "Deleted Due to Error" may occur. (This is a problem on OS side.) [Countermeasure] To avoid this problem, please set the driver to the following condition. Configure Port (Printer Driver> Properties> Ports) Protocol > LPR LPR Setting > LPR Byte Counting Enabled 5. If Original Orientation of application is different from Original Orientation of Driver when printing the job from FAX driver, TX result may be different from preview of Cover Sheet. Please set Original Orientations of application and Driver in the same direction. 6. If printing or displaying a large file from MFP Web Browser, error message may be displayed and you may not be able to print or display the file. 7. If there is Ajax description that is not supported by MFP on Ajax-enabled Website, the web page may not be displayed correctly on the MFP panel. When opening Google Map, Loading.. may keep displaying. (It is possible to operate on the MFP panel.) 8. When sending a job with the following settings, the job is stamped with black even if you set stamp with color. - Set Grayscale and Compact PDF format. - And set Stamp Composition to Image.
