1 Experimental Procedure

1. Open the atmospheric pressure valve and water valve. 2. Switch on the pump, let the water flow through the Bernoullis Principle Demonstrator. Make sure there is no bubble in the system. 3. Close the valves of atmospheric and switch off the pump, also close the water valve.

4. Measure the initial value of static pressure and dynamic Pressure. 5. Switch on the pump again and open the water valve to let the water flow with high velocity through the system. 6. Open the valve and measure the static pressure. 7. Pull out the cylinder to one point and measure the dynamic pressure. 8. Release the water in tank and take time for the water to fill cylinder to 5 liters of capacity. 9. Repeat step 8 for three times and calculate the average of time taken. 10. Repeat step 5 until 9 by pulling out the cylinder one point until last and measure the dynamic pressure, static pressure and take time for three times. 11. Calculate volume flow rate, Q.
