Contrast
Contrast- is a distinct difference between elements of a form or composition; either visually or in subject matter. This principal relates to real life application or career fields by X-Ray that doctors use for procedures like epidural steroid injections, or to determine if a bone is broken or not. It could also be used in a culinary setting: Using the right contrasting foods to create a beautiful presentation, or the contrasting tastes that the different foods create.

Project Objective: I want you to learn how to use complimentary colors and value to create contrasting art. I want you to develop awareness of contrasting colors on the color wheel (black and white being the most often used) and I want you to learn to draw the eye to the importance to the painting or drawing, ect. I want you to benefit by learning the complimentary colors (purple and yellow, red and green, blue and orange, black and white). I want to think of the value (light and dark) when using the principal of contrast. Materials: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
