Week 4 Reading 1 Frank Duffy Explains it as:

Site Shell Services Space Set

/land / building structure /plumping, electrical /Rooms given /Furniture

Interesting because we mostly think of it as just exterior/interior

Reading 2 Aldo van Eyck suggests we ignore the architecture of the building from the visual, but rather the contextual and symbolism. I am a visual learner.

 Lack of signage in the railway station needs to be greatly improved.

Safety and access to the Pomona station has been lacklustre and unrefined. Exposure of the extenson beneath is both unappealing and dangerous.

 The station has exposed elements and does not have a fluid design language. The mis-mashed structural requirements have not been planned accordingly.

The cultural aspects of Pomona have been ignored. Public services of seating and toiletry has also been ignored.
