Dear Families: In an effort to provide students with authentic learning opportunities in the use of technology resources. This year your student will be asked to participate in and have access to a Blog (see the link on the Expectations page of our website) created by your classroom teacher Ms. Isaacs. I will be posting and sharing student work via this website and we will participate in collaborative class projects and discussions. I have set-up features to this blog that will ensure your students safety while using this collaborative learning tool. As the teacher I have control over and editing power to oversee all content and privacy settings. I will be setting them so that only our class has access to any of the information posted, shared or provided on the blog by either myself or the students. I will be teaching internet safety and blog use to the students so that they can understand the purpose and seriousness of using this blog for educational purposes and collaboration.
