Dear Parents,

We hope you and your family are safe and healthy as you read this mail. Thank
you so much for your patience and understanding as we have been adjusting, like
you, to the drastic changes in life during the last few weeks. We are extremely
appreciative of our students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators for their
positivity, flexibility and resilience during these trying times.

We understand, the massive closures present a daunting challenge for both


students and parents, yet we would seek your cooperation in the wake of this
pandemic, to make this time a productive and happy one for our students. We are
initiating a process to provide fruitful academic experiences for our children and
therefore we plan to go for online teaching.

We intend to start online teaching from 20th May 2020 for the students of grade
IVth. ‘Cisco WebEx Meetings’ will be used to conduct the online sessions.

An Introductory Session for your ward will be conducted on


17th May, 2020, Sunday at 11:00 am.

Please follow below guidelines to join the online sessions:


1) Create an account by signing up at www.webex.co.in
Please note while creating the account enter your ward’s name, parent’s email
(gmail,yahoo etc) can be used to create the account. In case you have two kids
studying in our school you need to create two different accounts one for each child
using an alternate email ID.
2) If your ward will be using mobile to access the online classes you need to
download the app ‘Cisco WebEx Meetings’ in the mobile. For desktop/laptop
downloading app is not mandatory your ward can join the meeting using the link
through browser.

3) The link to join the online session will be shared in the respective telegram
channel of your ward.

4) Desktop/Laptop: Click on the link, you will be directed to screen as shown


below. Click on ‘join from your browser’, Enter you ward’s full name, and an
email address in the respective fields. The name must be of the student only. As
regard to the email it can be parent’s email (gmail, yahoo etc) after which you will
be allowed to join the meeting.
Mobile : you will be directed to the meeting room upon clicking the link.
Please note only one login per student will be permitted

Other Instructions:
1) Students are expected to join the online sessions within 10 minutes from the
start time as the meeting room will be locked after 10 minutes and entry will not
be permitted thereafter.
2) It is compulsory for all students to use headphones/earphones with
mic.Students must keep their mic muted and video off at all times unless
instructed otherwise.
3) Students should strictly follow the instructions of the teachers handling the
online session and make best use of the time and effort.
4) Students not adhering to the instructions or disrupting the class will be
removed from the online session.
5) All assignments will be collected when students return to school and checked
for completion.
6) There may be change in the schedule of online sessions at times due to
technical issues which are beyond our control.
7) With increased online time we must be diligent in ensuring cyber safety of
our children.  Please discuss the same with your children and monitor them as
much as you possibly can.  
8) We wish to bring to your notice that our teachers have been working for
extended hours and also without any summer break preparing the E-teaching
modules and prepping up their ICT skills for the digital teaching. We expect your
full cooperation and support by joining hands with the institution and help provide
continuous education for our students. Request only constructive feedback which
will keep our team motivated.

For any support we are here even though we are not within the walls of our school.
