I am looking forward to a very successful year and I know you are, too. I have high ex ectations for your child. I will do all that I can to hel your child achieve those ex ectations. I will !e ex ecting all work assigned in class to !e com leted. "f course, all students do not work at the same ace. #ome students will get their work done in class and some will not. $hether or not your child gets his or her work done in class has no effect on their grade. If your child does not com lete an assignment in class, he or she will !e re%uired to com lete it at home. &he way you can hel is to ask your child every school day what they learned and if there is any homework that needs to !e done. I encourage you ensure your child has a set aside time and location to com lete any take home assignments. 'inally, I want you to know that one of my most im ortant goals this year is to kee the lines of communication o en with you.
