Closing thoughts Items needed: -poster boards -markers -notecards -pens -snacks -water bottles -computer to play youtube clip Food (if applicable): Chipotle Usually Horizons Hospitality would be able to do catering, but he had overbooked that weekend, so he wasnt able to provide food (he gave us a huge discount on the venue because of this). However, I got Chipotle delivered by a friend for the 8 people who attended the retreat by doing a pre-order form and turning it in the day before. Transportation (if applicable): Everyone provided their own transportation and some were able to ride together. Overall Participant Satisfaction: The venue was great and had a very homey feel with coffee, water, and utensils provided. They even provided 2 flip charts and a projector/screen for us. I would definitely recommend continuing the work with Stan (he was in TKE at JMU) and continue having an exec retreat with a similar agenda. All the girls responded so well with everything and we really got to open up to discussion and get to know everyone on a personal level. Other Comments: Start planning over Christmas Break because you will run into problems along the way. I would highly suggest using this venue again (maybe even a little smaller place) and ordering food in this way, or plan it in advance so that they can cater on site!
