Dear Senior Portfolio Committee: This portfolio is made to be approved by the Senior Portfolio Committee in order to graduate high school and pursue a career in botany. I have chosen to pursue a career in botany because of my immense interest in plants and the nature in which they grow. Through my four years at Buckingham I have visited three California universities and taken an eight hour class in order to allow me to sign up for classes at Solano College. Along with visiting colleges, I have looked at the requirements necessary to transfer from Solano college to a 4-year and receive a masters degree in botany. If you look at my transcript, I have not done exceptionally well in mathematics or science however I am willing to push my mind to its limits in order to achieve my goal of becoming a botanist. By completing all of the necessary requirements for the senior portfolio I hope that the Senior Portfolio Committee approves my senior portfolio. After attending my four years at Buckingham I feel I am ready to pursue post-secondary education and step into the real world.
