using Finale Notepad 2006 Mr. Bellon, music teacher Find Finale Notepad 2006 icon and click on it. You should see the screen below. When you see it, click on Remind Me Later. The next screen you should see is the one below. Click on Continue. When you get to this screen, type Note Entry 1 as the title, and your first name and last name as the composer. Then click next. On this screen, click on keyboards in the first column, piano in the second column, and then the Add button in the middle. You should see piano appear in the third column. When you do, click on next. Select C for the Time Signature. For the Concert Key Signature click once on the down arrow button. It should be F Major as seen below. When your screen looks like this, click on Finish. Your screen should like this, except your name will be in the top-right hand corner. Click Simple Entry in the Main Tool Palette. Start entering the notes into this stave. Saving your work. Click on File, Save as. Save as your first initial, dot, last name. Make sure desktop is selected before you press save. Check the desktop to make sure your musical creation is there. Then close all windows. When you finish entering your notes, your piece of music should look like this. Press play on the Playback controls to hear your first piece!!!
