This role is an opportunity to join the Managerial Finance team in the Personal, Workplace, and Institutional Services (PWIS) Board Support Group. The PWIS Board Support group provides business and financial reporting and analytics to the Fidelity Mutual Fund Board of Trustees on behalf of the PWIS business. The work supports the annual contract approval process for the 400 mutual funds managed by Fidelity Investments.

The role will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and will be primarily responsible for supporting the Fidelity Mutual Funds Board(s) of Trustees on behalf of the PWIS businesses with a focus on Workplace Investing. Fund Profitability is an activity-based costing model that is used to calculate the profitability of our different investment products. The results of this work are shared with the Fidelity Board of Trustees and are used to help set the funds' fees. In this function the analyst will work with Finance partners across the firm and work with outside auditors to validate the results and perform analyses on trends and business changes. The group also functions as an area of subject matter expertise on fund revenue and partners with other finance areas on analyses used in business decision support.
Primary Responsibilities Maintain and enhance complex financial models including driver collection, methodology enhancements, and organizational changes. Produce quarterly and annual profitability reporting for the Fidelity mutual funds. Collect and analyze key business drivers needed to support decision making and pricing strategy Provide monthly transfer agent metric analysis and issue resolution Present financial results to Senior Finance Leadership team Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field Broad understanding of financial/accounting principles
