Overview
This period will be allotted for each group to rehearse and
compile any last details to their presentations.
Objectives
Support all the students in making sure they are comfortable
with their segment of the presentation. Allow for practice time.
Activities
Allow for students to add final touches.
Set
Provide feedback to each group
Support and enhance any areas of the presentation
Provide constructive support to each group and ensure they are
aware of all expectations.
Time
The entire period will be allotted for proving support for the
students and making sure that all the components are there.
Evaluation
Ongoing (positive) participation marks (15% of total grade) and
individual research contribution (25%) are the components that
will be evaluated throughout the project. Additionally, it is
important to recognize how relationships are being built with
group members, since the groups are arbitrarily chosen the
teacher. How well do they work together? Are there compatibility
or personality issues and conflicts? Does placing a student outside
the comfort of working with friends enhance or inhibit efficiency?
