House Warming

There is a tradition in Happy Town. Whenever somebody comes to

live in the town, everyone pays a visit to introduce themselves and to say
"welcome". Everyone will bring a little something to eat and drink, and
there will be some music for dancing.
When Mrs Pot moved into Happy Town, the neighbours each carried
a pot or a pan or a jug or a jar with something delicious in it. They made
Mrs Pot feel very welcomed indeed. Some brought little presents for her
house. Fred offered to help Mrs Pot with any repairs she needed to do.
Lucy offered to mind the family if she wanted to go out.
Happy Town is famous far and wide because of the house warming
tradition. It is also the best place to live because it has such kind people.
