    CHANDRA RASHI AND LAGNA RASHI

    chandra rashi is meant for analysing the


    emotional temprament of the person. But i
    have found in many books that the chandra
    rashi tries to shape the personality of a person.
    Then it is beyond emotional temprament.
    please comment.

    Moreover, there is a concept of atam karak
    planet: The personality of a person is shaped
    based on the atamkarak planet. If this is the
    case then to what extent the above point holds
    correct.

    The third one is : the Lagana analysis as you
    highlighted in the discussion.

    The fourth one is Surya Lagana and surya rashi
    which is prevalent in westeren astrology.

    This means if we have to understand a
    personality we have to consider all the above
    points. Please comment. And if it is true, then i
    have one more point, in past(pre-mughal era)
    there were no rashis considered, the
    astrologers used to rely only on NAKSHTRAS nd
    Tithis (for e.g. it is well known Lord KRISHNA
    was born in Rohini Nakshtra pad 2) , Only
    Mughals existence introduced the concept of
    RASHIS which is nothing but a sector of 30
    degrees consisting of Nakshtras.
