Have you ever taken into thought what friendship really is? What does
it mean to be a REAL friend? How an you hoose the right friends? !hese
are all "uestions we will be talking about today#
$or all of you friend%seekers out there& the Bible tells us about a true
and faithful $riend# 'n the last part of (roverbs )*+,-& it says& .###But there
is a friend who stiks loser than a brother#/
0ow ' know for some of you& it seems like 1ust about anyone ould be
loser to you than your brother or sister& but who do you think this $riend

'f you said Jesus& you were right3 Jesus will ALWA45 be there for us#
ALWA453 Hebrews )6+7 says .###$or He Himself 8Jesus9 has said& :' will
never leave you nor forsake you#:/

supposed to at as a friend& .A man who has friends must himself be
friendly###/
!his one is not that hard to understand but sometimes it:s hard to put
into ation# !he verse is saying if you want to have friends& 4;< have to be

Here is another verse that talks about how a friend should behave#
(roverbs )=+)= says& .A friend loves at all times###/ 'n this verse& it says
that a friend loves ALL of the time% A friend should be there for them
through thik and thin#
0ow& we talked about being a friend& what about finding friends# Let:s
look bak in the Bible again# 'n (roverbs ),+,> it says& .!he righteous
should hoose his friends arefully& for the way of the wiked leads them
astray#/
Aording to this verse& ?hristians need to hoose their friends
arefully# 'f we hoose& bad friends we ould be led away from @od instead
of loser# ;n the other hand& if we hoose good ?hristian friends we ould
be led loser to @od and both friends an grow and inrease in their
learning about @od#
Additionally& in (roverbs )6+,A it says& .He who walks with wise men will
be wise& but the ompanion of fools will be destroyed#/
'n this verse it tells us plainly what will happen if we are with the right
or wrong kind of friends# 'f we assoiate with wise& or other believers then
we will grow and want to learn more about @od# But if we beome lose
friends with fools& or unbelievers& we will fall off the path @od has set for
us#
