ON fulfills R$120 million subscription commitment and Banks disburse R$100 million bridge
financing to Pecm II

Rio de Janeiro, May 20, 2014 ENEVA S.A. (Company) (BM&FBovespa: ENEV3, GDR I: ENEVY)
announced today that, in the context of the first phase of the private capital increase announced in a
Material Fact Notice dated May 12, 2014 (Material Fact Notice), E.ON subscribed for and paid in
94,456,108 (ninety four million, four hundred and fifty six thousand, one hundred and eight) new ENEVA
ordinary shares, totaling R$120 million.

Additionally, pursuant to the agreement disclosed in the Material Fact Notice, a short-term bridge to the
Pecm II long-term financing in the amount of R$100 million was disbursed by Banco BTG Pactual S.A.,
Banco Citibank S.A., HSBC Bank Brasil S.A. Banco Mltiplo and Ita Unibanco S.A.
