COUNTER ARGUMENTS

Some may argue that you should never sunbathe


or go out in afternoon sun because strong sun
can give you skin cancer. However, some
exposure to the sun is necessary. We need the
sun to help us make Vitamin D, which prevents
bone problems like rickets. Sunshine on the
retina also helps us make the feel-good chemical
serotonin. And it is burning that increases the
risk of cancer. So, we should just be sensible
about being in the sun rather than avoiding it
completely.
