Senior Internship/Project Proposal

The Senior Internship/Project Proposal is a required writing project for the Senior
Government/Consumer Awareness class and it is also a required piece of the Senior Portfolio.
During this project you will learn about organization, research, logistics, communications,
budgeting and other related professional skills.
Each student's proposal will vary in length so there is no page requirement. Please follow the
suggested minimum requirements listed on each question. Carefully follow the outline below to
successfully complete your proposal. At a later date, you will receive an outline of requirements
for the class presentation so you will know what to include on your slides. Your proposal should
be typed.

I will be leading people into a deeper and closer relationship with God.


5. What goals do you hope to accomplish from this project/internship? (organization)
I hope to grow closer to Jesus.
I hope to have a closer relationship with God.
I hope that through a spirit lead worship people will feel the presence of God.
I hope that people will wake up to the indescribable love of Christ.
I hope to start a Revival in the youth today.
I hope to convey the gospel to them through a spirit lead worship.
I hope to increase my vocal ability.

6. What type of research will you need to complete in order to support your idea and/or
learn more about your topic? (research)
I will need to research my churchs outreach opportunities.
I will need to research my churchs volunteer opportunities.
I will need to research leadership opportunities.
I will need to research opportunities to not just lead worship at my church but
opportunities at other churches.


7. Who will you need to contact in order to support your research? (communication)

I will need to contact the music director at my church.
I will need to contact the youth leader.
I will need to contact the person in charge of outreach and volunteering.

8. What steps will you take to accomplish this project or internship? (logistics)
I will write a proposal to present to Mr. Bigham.
I will need to write up a resume.
I will need to write a cover letter.
I will need to do research on the different outreach opportunities and see if Im
old enough to do them.
I will need to research churches that are looking for a worship team to volunteer
at.
I will need to get in contact with the person in charge of outreach.
I will also need to get in contact with the different music directors.
I will start working at my church however they want me too.
Ill probably have to be interviewed by the music directors.
After they will most likely have me sing.


9. If you were to carry out your vision, what type of budget would you need to sustain
your project or internship? (budgeting)
I will probably need a total of around $200 a week for gas money.

10. What impact will your internship have on you?
This internship may affect my entire future. I will grow in a deeper and closer
relationship with God. My worship leading and vocal skills will increase. Along the way I
will be encountering the love of my Father and will be able to better convey that same
kind of love to everyone who I minister to. Hopefully, God will put in my life people that
will help me to minister to a larger group of people so that they may have a supernatural
encounter with God through my ministry. I hope that I will be even more on fire for God
after this internship. After this internship, the passion inside me will intensify for Him. My
main hope is that this internship wont just affect me but, through Jesus, it will radically
transform peoples lives into the created image God had for them in the first place.
