K4 Weekly Memo

For the week of November 16, 2009

• Letter of the Week- This week’s letter is “Tt.” Please point-out
“W’s” in your child’s environment and things that start with “Ww.”
Show and Tell is on Friday. The items need to start with the letter
and fit into your child’s backpack. If you do not have anything
that starts with the letter, have your child clip a picture from the
newspaper or a magazine. I encourage ALL children to bring
something for show and tell.

• Money- Please send any money for the week (milk, popcorn,
soncones, etc.) on Monday (or the first day of the school week)in a
labeled envelop.

• Principal Appreciation Day- Wednesday we are celebrating

Sister Margaret and her dedication to the students and the school.
On Tuesday, we will be making a gift for Sister Margaret and a
card.

This Week…
Monday- “T” is for Turkey
Tuesday- Making a gift and card for Sister Margaret
Wednesday- Principal Appreciation Day- Celebrating Sister Margaret
Thursday- Identifying the letter “Tt”
Friday- Mass in the Gym 9am

Here are the letters we have learned about thus far. Please cutout these
cards and have your child say the sound, name the letter, and match capital
and lower case letters. Be creative and have fun learning these letters.
