K4 Weekly Memo

For the week of May 3, 2010

• Letter of the Week- We are learning about the

letter “Yy” as in yarn.

• Uniform Policy- Remember that on T-shirt days

(Mondays) that students may wear blue jeans or
khaki paints (ankle or capri length only) with the
CURRENT year’s t-shirt. Shorts are not permitted.
Uniform bottoms are permissible on T-shirt days.
Also, girls are not allowed to wear finger nail
polish to school.

• Friday- Friday is a noon dismissal. We will have

the Crowning of Mary. This is a time when
students lay flowers at the base of the statue of
Mary. You do not have to buy flowers, but try to
pick some flowers for your child to bring. We will
also have sports awards given out this day
(basketball and soccer).
