"" 113-395.5. Prohibited substances and activities. 6
All of the following shall be prohibited for use in connection with oil and gas exploration, 7
development, and production activities, and use horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing for 8
those purposes, and the Department shall deny a permit which includes any of the following: 9
(1) The use of asbestos in Flosal or any other drilling mud. 10
(2) Depleted uranium in explosive charges or devices. 11
(3) Land farming of drill cuttings and drilling mud. 12
113-395.6. Registration and accounting of radioactive material. 13
An oil or gas developer or operator using Americum-241/Beryllium (well logging) source 14
rods, or other category 3 radioactive materials in connection with oil and gas exploration, 15
development, and production activities, and use horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing for 16
those purposes, shall register and account for these substances upon completion of drilling."". 17
