1. We the students Scholarship contest


a. To apply I have to write an essay answering three
questions around the ideas of the Constitution and the
role of citizens. I have to submit the essay by December
16, 2014 for it to even be counted.

2. $10,000 Clothes Recycling Scholarship
a. To apply you have to sign up for Comeback Clothes and
access to an H&M store. You also have to have a
Scholarship account.

c. The Maximum amount of money thatll be rewarded is
10,000.
d. All you have to do is Sign up for Comeback Clothes to
collect old and worn-out clothes in your school and
communities and drop them off at your local H&M store
to help save precious resources.

3. Girls Impact the World Film Festival GreenIS award Scholarship
a. To apply you have to make a film 3-5minutes long about
environmental issues that impact females.

d. They are rewarding the winner no more than $2,500.
e. Students submit your 35 minute film on environmental
issues that either:
1. Propose solutions to environmental issues that
impact women and girls
- OR
2. Create awareness about environmental issues that
impact women and girls. Maybe it's a profile of a
woman making a difference in the field, a law legislated
by a woman, a specific problem that affects the
economic activity of women in a given area, etc. How
can these two issues come together to solve an
environmental problem and advance women? Topics
may include: - climate change- green energy- water
pollution - garbage and waste reduction - bio-diversity
Your film can be a: narrative, documentary,
investigative reporting, music video, animation, or
curated film (film collage).
f. December 31, 2014 is the deadline for this scholarship.
4. A Voice for Animals High School contest
a. All entries from 15-18 years olds must either establish a
new project or become involved in an existing project
which addresses either the mistreatment of one animal
species or one cause of animal suffering, or the
preservation of one species threatened with extinction,
occurring anywhere in the world, and then work on that
project for at least three months.

students whose essays best promote the humane
treatment of animals, including:

in and wait for the results.

5. Signal Grace $1,000 Scholarship Essay contest
a. To apply Students must read Signal Grace and write a
500- to 1,000-word essay in response to one of three
prompts, including the unusual free-write option. The
student can choose the topic as long as they
demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the book
Signal Grace and a distinct command of English.
Judges are looking for creative thinking as well as an
authentic, natural voice. Essays can be submitted
anytime between March 1st and June 1st.
