HE DO?
Pythagoras was an Ionian-Greek
philosopher, mathematician, and
entertainer. He came up with the
Pythagorean theorem which states that
A2+B2= C2. The Pythagorean theorem only
applies to right triangles. The credit for
coming up with the Pythagorean theorem
is partially devoted to the ancient Indians
and Babylonians, although Pythagoras and
his group came up with the proof of the
theorem. In the Pythagorean theorem, the
3 parts of the right triangle are the
Hypotenuse and the 2 legs. The
hypotenuse is the longest side in the
triangle, and the legs are shorter. A and B
apply to the two legs, whereas C applies to
the Hypotenuse. A and B can be
interchangeable, but C is always the
hypotenuse no matter what.
