Anemia is a condition in which your blood has a
lower than normal number of red blood cells,
Anemia also can occur if your red blood cells don't
contain enough hemoglobin , Hemoglobin is a
main part of red blood cells and binds oxygen.

Common cause of anemia is a lack of nutrients needed
for the synthesis of erythrocytes, such as iron, vitamin
B12 and folic acid. The rest is the result of a variety of
conditions such as hemorrhage, genetic abnormalities,
chronic disease, drug toxicity.

Common causes of anemia

1. severe bleeding
2. accident
3. surgery
4. Vitamin B12 deficiency
5. Folic acid deficiency


1. Diet low in
2. Rapid growth
3. blood loss
4. Socio-economic conditions of inadequate
5. Bleeding after childbirth
6. Damage to bone marrow or kidney
7. The destruction of red blood cells (hemolytic
anemia)

Pale skin and yellow
Circles under the eyes
Feels lethargic
Pain in the mouth
Changes in urine color
Breakfast Cereal,bread and potatos
Milk
Fruit and
Vegatables
Meat,fish
Egg,etc.

Vitamin C-rich foods .
adequate rest.
It can be treated with injections of vitamin B12.
Eat a balanced diet.
