RE: Apples selling iPhone policy in the US
Dear Mr Cook,
The iPhone has grown globally and more people want this magical phone. However, having an exclusive contact with AT&T in the US market precludes many people from getting the iPhone. They may want to switch to another carrier in order to get an iPhone. Deutsche Telekom has sold more than one million iPhone in in Germany in 2013, people wondering why this is not the case in the US market.
This whole process has an impact on the US market; people even pay more fees to switch to AT&T and get the phone. Meanwhile, The T-Mobile market faces new significant challenges including high turnover rates and low revenue streams that may harm T-mobile business investors in the long-term.
T-mobile would be eager to take part in providing the next generation of the iPhone in the US market which would significantly increase chances and options, especially for Apples loyal customers to get this magical phone through T-Mobile.
Sincerely,
Rene Obermann Deutsche Telekom Chief Executive Officer University of Pennsylvania | English Language Programs | Business Intensive Program
