The first major reason that supports this concept that humans should have a limited time here on earth is this concern of overpopulation. According to paragraph 6, population growth and the concern of land and living arrangements becomes a major issue. If there is continual birth with no death, population growth, which is already straining earths resources, will accelerate (Paragraph 6). Furthermore, providing food, water, shelter, and education for every one will become an increasing challenge; these resources would not be sustainable (Paragraph 6). As a result, if humans were to live forever, resources would become scarce and would slowly dry up driven by this overpopulation; the world would not be able to handle this constant surge in population.
