A Monsoon Shower
Winds soaring, air blowing
A sea of clouds darkening in the sky,
A bellowing thunder and a flash of light,
The crash of waves and a birds distant cry.
I place my palm on the window pane
As trickling drops slowly descend,
A redolent, fragrant breeze flows in,
The beauty of this moment I have to commend.
The plush, dense, green crowns of trees
Sway and swing with vigor, so free,
Everythings clear, like theres no sorrow anywhere
And the worlds been immersed in happiness and glee.
Fine and resplendent are the surroundings outside,
While the suns faint rays emanate a subtle glow,
And I swell up with charm and delight
At the sight of the vibrant colors of a glistening rainbow!
As frolic and cheer in all hearts, flower;
All fear and inhibition seems gone from this world
As I just rejoice a lovely monsoon shower.
