The great wizard of fairknowe

In the times, long gone, there was a beautiful kingdom called Fairknowe. It had pretty rivers and fields of golden
daffodils and red tulips all over. It also had waterfalls which shone like silver and trees which bore the sweetest
fruits. The kingdom was ruled by a wizard called the ‘Wizard of Fairknowe’.

He was respected all throughout his kingdom but due to his age he had become quite clumsy and sometimes even
forgot and mixed up spells. One day while having his breakfast he was reading ‘The Hindu’. He found the Young
World newspaper in it and decided to take a look and found a story about a beautiful princess. He became deeply
interested in the story and without knowing, he accidentally spilled his cup of tea on the floor. The old wizard was
too tired to clean it up so he decided to use a spell to help him. As he always used to forget his spells, he uttered a
wrong spell by mistake and instead of cleaning up the mess, he got transported into the story, which he was reading
earlier.

He was quite surprised when he landed there, but soon realized what had happened. Suddenly he heard shouts
coming from the forests nearby and saw a princess tied to a tree. He freed her. The princess told him that a
wicked monster had tied her up and the only way to kill it was to dive in the river next to the forest and unlock a
blue bottle on the riverbed where its soul lied. The wizard suddenly saw the monster coming and quickly dived into
the river and opened the blue bottle.

The monster died. The king and queen decided to help him go back to his home. They uttered a spell and he found
himself back in his room with the tea still spilled. He decided to clean it up himself in case he should utter a
wrong spell and go to another strange place again!!
