Dear Editor:
I<Clause errors>am writing to you concerning Rifkin's<Spelling errors>article published on Monday, September 1, 2003, by the Los Angeles
Times.I agree that animals should be treated how they need to be treated, the way they need to be treated with respect like how they respect
humans. Animal's can feel emotions just like humans feel emotions. Do they deserve to be tortured? They also feel pain and act like humans in
some ways. Also they breath and live like we do should animals be treated like this?
I know that, animals breath like how humans do I agree that animals should be treated like humans because animals could feel the harm where
doing to them. Also in Rifkin's<Spelling errors>point hes telling us that we should change the way we treat animals around us because of the way
people are treating them. I agree that animals are more human like then we ever imagined, because they eat, breath and have a heart like humans
do. When animals are going through something, they could feel it or they sense it, animals could feel emotions like humans. I do not think
Rifkin<Spelling errors>is wrong about his article I agree that Rikins<Spelling errors>point about animals is true.

Animals and humans share the same characteristics, that why animals act like us in some ways. Some way's animals act like us are that when
female animals give birth they feel the same pain human mothers do. They bare their child like how humans do. Animals who are mothers seem to
know when they take their child away, for example puppies' people tend to sell the puppies when there born I do not think that's right. Another
reason we share characteristics would be that animals and humans are both very equal, they share the same emotions as we do.

On the other hand, I do not think animals should be treated the way there treated because animlas such as dogs, birds, cats, lions and other
animals could be trained to be better animals. Dogs and other animals are trained to help people who are blind and that can help people that have
some kind of medical problem. Older people who need dogs to help them get to places are trained for that. So in that way I think animals are
important to humans that need that special help. Animals are a big part of us as long as there trained with love and respect.

In closing, I strongly agree that animals should be treated the way they need to be treated. The way they are treating animals now days is
harmful to the animals, because they could feel pain and emotion that were doing to them and animals don't deserve that, they need to be treated
right as if they were humans. Animals are more like humans then we think they mostly do everything we do. Rifkins<Spelling errors>article is true
about the animals I think more people should be reading his article. In my opinion I think more people should read his ideas. So once again I agree
that animals should be treated with all the love we should give them.
