Working title: Cannibal

Logline of your story: Joseph doesnt believe Ben when he tell him about an abandoned house, so to
prove him wrong about the rumor he goes in the house for the night only to find out the horrible truth

Act 1

Set-Up: There in school, hes waiting for ben, he says he has something to tell him.

Opening Image: Joseph doesnt believe in scary stories, he is confident he can prove any rumor wrong

Theme/Mission: He wants to prove the rumor wrong and find out the truth

Catalyst: Ben says that there is rumor that in the abandoned house lives a cannibal, he dares him and his
friends to stay there until midnight

Commitment: Joseph decides to stay at the abandoned house until midnight to prove him wrong

Act 2

Plan A: Joseph gets lost in the woods after going off of the trail that leads to the abandoned house

Midpoint: he finds the abandoned house and go inside

Plan B: He gets lost in the dark house, he looks at his phone, it says 12:00

Climax: He hears a scream and starts to run stumbling over in the dark house. He bumps into something,
its Ben, he has blood on his face as hes smiling back at him. Hes the cannibal

B-Story: He found out the truth of the abandoned house

Act 3

Resolution: He wakes up sweaty and scared breathing heavily, it was all a dream. He looks at his phone,
he has a text from Ben, he has something to tell him.

Final Image: Joseph is laying in his bed scared out his mind. He doesnt know what to believe but hes a
little more opened minded
