My opinion on the reading This Is How We Live, by Ellen DeGeneres
According to the article by Ellen DeGeneres, technology has benefited us in all
aspects because the information is achieved faster and helps us live more easily. I think
this article has many true things on how technology affects us negatively. Since we
expect things to be so easy, without having to make a minimum effort what we do is
become more lazy people. I liked the part of the scissors because its true when you buy
scissors the way you asked it with scissors and open them, as it is illogical. Another part I
liked was her idea on the microwave. For me, that is something that heats the food and
not turn into fire, unless you give more time to the fire and you will feel it on your
tongue. But also, we have to thank for all the technology advancements that we have had,
even if some are unnecessary and others are ways of doing minimal effort. I agree that
technology, in part, is ending with the world because you have to make efforts, admire
nature, and stop using electronic devices as these have affected society. I have to admit
that sometimes I include myself in that group. We must also have time to share, exercise,
admire the things of nature, and try to make more things without relying on technology.
