In re: Quiambao

Facts:
Peralta files a disbarment case against Atty. Quiambao. The complaint was
lodged on the fact that the latter together with his brother convinced him to buy a
lot which in fact is not for sale.

WON the conduct of Atty. Quiambao warrants a disciplinary action.

The supreme Court held that it is incumbent upon lawyers that they should
not engage in dishonest conduct.
In the case at bar, it clear that the act of Atty. Quiambao constitutes a
dishonest conduct.
Hence, he deserves a disciplinary action on the part of the Court.
