DSLAM PHYSICAL CHECKLIST

Room Condition
Room air-conditioning unit are working and
temperature maintained in room temperature at
180C 300C.
Equipment and room are locked properly.
Environment is dust free with proper cabling and
floor arrangement.
DSLAM Cabinet
Rack fan is working properly
Check that rack fan blade is clean
Check that fan/ventilation filter is clean and in
place.
Check that Dslam operating temperature is
maintained at less than 550C.
Power
Check DC supply voltage to DSLAM
(Result should be -40V to 56.4V DC)
Check that rectifier is able to support battery on
load.
(First level maintenance).
Check Power Distribution Box has the correct
fuse rating for DSLAM operation.
